Neon Love

On this dark moonless night the stars are pulsating with a tenacious ferocity, I lay in the arms of my love at the end of the road atop a mountain looking down at the city. The rising humidity blurring the lines between land and sky like an aura has surrounded the city. A gentle gush of wind runs over her smooth body as it rustles my hair, I look into her eyes that hold the reflection of the world around me and ask myself if I could ever be more in love.

As I flick my cigarette out the window and turn on the music. I press down on the clutch & twist the key to her heart and turn on the beast. The air vibrates with the sweet sound of 650 horespower, shes giddy with excitement as I squeeze her hand. This mountain can’t be big enough, my will can’t be strong enough, as long as shes with me we can conquer the world. The adrenaline pumps through my veins like nitrous as we start to drive down the mountain. I decide to put my foot down and drift down this gorgeous open road, she purs with a gleeful smile on her face. Street lights passing by feel like a blur, the beast and I are one. She wants to be pushed, she wants to feel alive. This wide open road feels smooth like butter as she holds me tight. The dash lights up bright and she asks me to push her to the limit. These were the words I was waiting to hear I grin as a electrified love filled twinkle fills my eyes. I slowly move my hands down and she wails through the turbo as I shift the gear down. A surge of chemicals run through our veins and she lets out a growl like the beast she is, the beast she so longs to be.

 

We sway to the beat dashing past others down the highway, two souls drifting amongst the stars lost in each others arms. The world seems to have slowed down and all I can see is my girl and the lust filled glow surrounding her. I’m snapped out of it as this blissful moment is broken by the distant flickering of red and blue lights filling the rear view mirror.

Its the law, they dissagree, our love is forbidden and they want to take my baby away. They want our meriment to stop, their feeble minds incapable of comprehending our connection, they want my beast tamed, they want my baby in chains. The nearing sirens inject a fear fueled rage in my chest and I say “Challenge accepted!”.  I gently rub my hand over the smooth curves of her dash and ask her;

Are you ready?

Are you with me?

She trustingly purs without hesitation, with my confidence renewed I say the words “you’re mine! They ain’t takin’ you away“. Anxiously moving my hand down her body I flip open the button cap, as we brace ourselves I thrust my finger forward to press it. My beast rises screaming with all her might and we surge forward at a speed unimaginable. The nitrous oxidizing in her heart turns her red like shes been possesed by a lustful demon, pushed back I fall into her embrace, she’s in charge now, we hold on to each other in a dreamstate fuelled by pure ecstasy. The one thing I know in my heart is that my baby’s gonna protect me, the street lights shining bright start to merge into one. The law is no longer a worry as they’ve been left in the dust.

We slowly come down from the rush together as the juice wears off, she jiggles ever so slightly asking me to take over. She loosens her grip around me as her racing heart slows down to the beat of the music. I yell at the top of my lungs “Wooou! I’ve never felt more alive!”.

I ease of the pedal to let her relax and slow down to a pur. “We’re almost home, we’re almost free” I reassuringly whisper. Her brushed metallic skin glistens under the neon filled lights of the city, they caress her skin and bounce back concealing her true colors. We stare at each other recollecting memories of what we’ve just been through. A sense of joy takes over in the realiztion that we’re still together and the world couldn’t tare us apart.

I wish this night would never end, I wish the dawn would never show, I wish to be trapped in this moment forever. She guides me home in a love filled haze knowing we are together and will be forever.
